2074 writes "Rasa Organics is a new north Georgia CSA that grows non-GMO, natural produce on a historic farm in Dalton, Georgia. We follow organic growing standards and strive to run a sustainable, innovative, and ecologically flourishing farm.
What is a CSA? CSA means "Community Supported Agriculture." It is a way for you to support your local farmer by investing as a "shareholder" up front in the growing season. This arrangement helps to ease the up front costs for the farmer, which typically ensures a larger, more diverse crop planting and yield. In return, the shareholders receive a bag or box (usually on a weekly basis) of the freshest, in season produce from farmers that they have come to know. Read more on our What We're About page.
Most people choose to receive produce weekly for one or more season. We try to be flexible and can work with you to accomodate every other week pick-ups and week-by-week purchases as well.
