caroline writes "One of our new neighbors on Fairhill lane has lost one of their great danes. I saw her (the owner) walking with the other Great Dane about 45 minutes ago when heading to Kroger and her husband was driving around the neighborhood looking for the dog. Please be on the look out for the dog because the dog is new to the neighborhood and doesn't know his/her way around. As animal person I would be devastated if I lost my wild dog Bailey.
I am sorry to say I don't know the new neighbors names, but Ward (my husband) mentioned that Beth Williams was also driving around looking for the dog so she might know their names. I think they are living at the end of Fairhill lane. I sure hope they find their dog. Thanks for your help.

Dog Found in HillsDale on Fairway Circle

I saw a dog loose this afternoon around 5:00pm. I was able to capture it and now have it secured. It looks pretty clean so I don't think it has been loose more than hours. UPDATE: Fine black terrier was returned to its owner this evening. The little guy had escape out the backyard fence after a bath.

We found a male dog at least a few years old on our front steps late last night in HillsDale, Oct.5, 2007. He is a pure breed dog with mixed colors. No tags. Please call me to describe colors and breed of your lost dog.

Missing Cat - Please Help Us Find Her

cindy writes "My neighbors (Deborah and Carol) and I are missing an outdoor cat named "Mama". She is a petite, black cat with a very few white hairs in her chest area. She will usually rub on your legs but does not like sudden movement or to be picked up. She is spayed and has had all of her shots. She was last seen on 12/24 between 1982 and 1976 Fairway Circle. We are hoping someone made friends with her and let her inside and she decided to stay. She is inquisitive so if you have had your crawl space open, etc. please check to make sure she isn't trapped.
